In November 18, 2025 H.E. Zurab Khamashuridze, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria, held a meeting with Yordanka Fandukova, Chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Bulgarian National Assembly

 

The Chairperson congratulated Ambassador on his recent appointment and wished him success in his future work.

 

At the meeting, topics related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Bulgaria were discussed. The discussions touched upon security issues in the region and ongoing developments, including security of the Black Sea region and opportunities for deepening cooperation in areas such as connectivity, transportation, and energy.

 

The parties noted that they continue cooperation in the future to further strengthen the ties between the two countries.
