On March 25, the first consultations were held between the ministries of foreign affairs of Georgia and Bulgaria on the cooperation within international organizations, in an online format initiated by the embassy.

On March 25, the first consultations were held between the ministries of foreign affairs of Georgia and Bulgaria on the cooperation within international organizations, in an online format initiated by the Embassy.

The consultations were headed by the Director of the International Organizations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Shalva Tsiskarashvili and Director General for Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Genka Georgieva.

During the consultations, the sides discussed different aspects of cooperation within international organizations, resolutions submitted by the Georgian side, and mutual candidature support. Opinions and views were expressed, with regards to more effective functioning and reform of international organizations.

On the final note, the parties agreed to maintain this successful practice in the future.
