Ambassador Otar Berdzenishvili's meeting with the Chairperson of the Friendship Group of the Parliament of Bulgaria with the Parliament of Georgia Aleksandar Ivanov

On January 24, Ambassador Otar Berdzenishvili held a meeting with the Chairperson of the Friendship Group of the Parliament of Bulgaria with the Parliament of Georgia Aleksandar Ivanov. 

During the meeting, the aspects of Georgian-Bulgarian bilateral cooperation were discussed. Both sides highlighted the unprecedented Inter-Parliamentary dialogue last year, reflected not only in the high-level visits, but also by the adoption of Georgia’s support Declaration by the Bulgarian National Assembly. The parties expressed readiness to continue high level of interaction between two Parliaments the upcoming year and in this context, discussed concrete action plan.

Moreover, Ambassador discussed the different events of the Embassy under the public diplomacy direction and involvement of Friendship Group in this regard. Aleksandar Ivanov expressed his readiness to support Embassy activities and participate in the implementation of various projects.

In addition, the Ambassador spoke about the measures implemented within the framework of the embassy's public diplomacy and the involvement of a friendship group in this regard.
